Squib Racing in 2024
2024 Season
The Lowestoft Squib Fleet start the season with the Broadland Regatta, held at W&OBYC, on 23/24th March 2024. This is followed by a month of boat preparation, with the first of the regular Saturday afternoon races at RN&SYC on May 12th.
The Saturday afternoon racing continues until the end of June, when a number of club boats will be disappearing to the National Championships (In 2024, these are being held at the Royal Forth YC in Edinburgh).
During August, Sea Week at Lowestoft and Oulton Broad Week are both well attended by the Squib Fleet, ready for regular Saturday racing to resume at the end of August thru until mid October.
