Access to the Marina
We are pleased to announce that the Marina Dredging Programme of The Royal Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club will be completed by the end of April 2016. This will allow improved access to all vessels at all states of the tide. We look forward to welcoming all visiting yachtsmen and meeting our friends, old and new.

Marina Desk
Marina Staff are available from 0800 hrs to 1800 hrs Monday to Friday and 0830 hrs to 1630 hrs Saturday & Sunday. Marina staff maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 80 and are available to assist visitors and members.
The Marina Desk is situated in The Clubhouse and visitors are requested to pay their mooring fees on arrival.
Navigation
Vessels must call Lowestoft Harbour Radio on VHF Channel 14 for permission to enter or leave the harbour and marina.
To assist the marina staff during Marina Desk opening times, please call Royal Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club on VHF Channel 80 for berthing information and if you wish to enter the marina.
Water
Each pontoon is fitted with hose reels strategically placed to ensure a free supply of water to all berths.
Electricity
Each finger pontoon has either 16 amp or 32 amp metered outlets for berth holders. Power bollards are also fitted at intervals along the Visitors Pontoon.
Waste Management
Situated in the western corner of the Car Park, follow the signs past the Visitor’s Shower Block. There is a skip facility for domestic waste and disposal points for batteries, waste oil, filters and bottles.
Emergency Procedures
In the event of a man overboard in the Marina, ladders are positioned on each hammerhead at the western end of the inner basin and at each end of the Visitor’s Pontoon. In addition there are two mobile ladders at the foot of the gangway which can be water.
Emergency Stations are positioned around the pontoons, each one holding a fire extinguisher, first aid kit and lifebuoy. Each station is marked with an appropriate safety sign. Call 999 to request Emergency Services.

Laundrette
1 x 10lb capacity washing machine, token operated (1 token per washing cycle)
1 x 10lb capacity tumble dryer, coin operated (£5 for 45 mins)
Tokens (£5 each) are obtainable from the club office. Washing powder is not provided but is available from the club office if required.
Tip: when the marina is busy demand for the laundrette can be very heavy. There is a list in the laundrette on which to book your place in the queue.
RNSYC Waste Management Plan
Under the Merchant Shipping (Port Waste Reception Facilities) Regulations 2003, the club is required to have in place a Port Waste Management Plan approved by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA). The current plan, drawn up in conjunction with Associated British Ports, has received MCA ratification . Details of the plan can be inspected below (Acrobat Reader required).
