CLUB NEWS
On Friday the 4th April the RN&SYC will be hosting a Civil Ceremony / Wedding & Reception. The Wedding party will be taking place from 12 noon in the Sunlounge, Silver Bar and Dining Room. The Members Bar will be open as always and food is available .
STARS MEETING
THIS WEDNESDAY 26th March

The next STARS meeting is on Wednesday 26th March at 6.00pm. This month’s topic is ‘Flags, Tips and Timings for Club Racing’. We will be looking at the equipment kept on Skylark and the Flags and Signals required for racing at sea. We will discuss how to get the best out of Saturday afternoon racing and tips that may help the Officer of the Day and the support team. We also look forward to sharing and explaining some more mysteries of Yacht Racing!
Please let the Club know if you are coming and especially if you will be staying for Supper.

CRUISING NEWS
The Club Cruise meeting took place yesterday at the Club with a great turnout of enthusiastic boaters.
The following were agreed.
1. Visit to RHYC 26/27th April. So far 5 boats are planned in. Freeway, Gentle One, Ikon, Xerxes and Matt Clay’s Rib. Monday 28th we will go on to Woodbridge or Ipswich. TBA
2. Essex Backwaters setting off Wednesday 18th June, 10/14 day duration.
3. 26th July set off to Ostend, 7/10 Day duration.
4. 20th September set off to Wells.
5. 14th July set off to London.
6. A gathering at Beccles was discussed around one of the May Bank Holidays but I need someone to organise it.
7. There will ad hoc visits to Southwold. TBA.
Please reconfirm which cruises you wish to join with the Club Office who are coordinating the program and will put details on the notice board.
Further information regarding exact ports of call will be circulated asap.
