CLUB NEWS

Notice to Members

With the approval of the Management Committee the Club will be trialling a ‘Visitors Sunday Lunch’ until the end of April.

The aim is to encourage new Membership by allowing an experience of the facilities the RN&SYC can offer on a limited basis. Members are welcome to pass on this information to family, friends, business colleagues and neighbours.

Members will still have exclusive use of the Members Bar and Dining Room and will still be able to use the Sunlounge and Silver Bar should they wish.

Visitors will be required to pre book, adhere to Club rules and have limited access to the car park and other facilities.

STARS (Support Team assisting Races at Sea)Our next meeting is on Wednesday 29th January, at 6pm, followed by supper.
The theme for the meeting will be VHF Radio etiquette, Lowestoft Harbour Rules and how to escort a fleet of sailing boats out to sea and back into the Club Marina. We will be pleased to welcome Sarah Davies, who runs VHF courses at the Club and who will be happy to explain simple, good radio practice with our STARS group. I am sure it will be a most useful evening for anyone who takes their boat to sea at Lowestoft and anyone who wishes to help us with racing this summer. Everyone is welcome, but please let the Club know that you are coming and whether you will stay on for supper.
STARS – Menu (Please pre order)
