From Thursday 5th November as per Government instructions the Club house which includes bar, dining and accommodation will be closed.
The Boat lift out scheduled for this Friday will still take place with the Marina staff conducting the boat movements, lift out and pressure washing. We request no Members attend on the day to comply with Covid restrictions
The Marina will continue to be monitored with twice daily walkarounds of the moored vessels to check conditions and securings. There will also be staff on site conducting maintenance on the Club and Marina.
All social events planned for November including Quiz, Book Club, Coffee Mornings and French Weekend are unfortunately cancelled but will be rescheduling these events in the near future.
We will be continuing with our December Social program but we will keep you apprised of any changes as they happen. We urge all our Members including Family & Friends to book and support our December Social Program as listed below.You can do this by emailing admin@rnsyc.org.uk or calling 01502 566726
The Club Office will be manned during Monday to Friday 09:00 to 13:00. Emails are being monitored and will be responded to within 24 hours.

With Autumn now in full swing, I’m sure the occasional thought goes to Christmas and the traditional Christmas Party. In normal times – and these times are far from normal – the company Christmas party was a time to get the whole team together and say a big and well deserved thank you. With current regulations, the traditional ‘party’ is likely to prove problematic, but can I suggest an alternative? On the basis that during December & January we are STILL allowed to dine out, you may wish to try give smaller Team Thank You Dinners – rather than gathering the whole company together. So the ‘sales team’ would go out with the Sales Manager/Director, the Engineers out with the Engineering Manager and so on. Even at larger company events, teams and departments often sit together, so won’t feel strange and will enable an employer to say thanks to staff. As members of the Club – I hope you have experienced the Club’s Covid-19 policies that make it an exceptionally safe place to meet, eat and socialise and a perfect location for a team Christmas Dinner or Luncheon in very special surroundings. It goes without saying that Simon and his team will be delighted to discuss any requirements, including whether you want to utilise the committee room for a private dining experience. Having done this myself I can testify to what a special evening it creates.
